A Little About Me

Selam, hi, hello friends,

I’m an Ethiopian-American writer, born in Addis Ababa and now residing in New England. A 2023-2024 Harvard-Cambridge scholar, I’m currently finishing up my MSt in Creative Writing at University of Cambridge.

I am represented by Jennifer March Soloway of Andrea Brown Lit, and my adult debut novel TOO PRETTY TO LIE will be coming out with Viking/Penguin Random House (you can add it on StoryGraph or Goodreads!)

I’m excited to have you along on this journey, though I’m not quite sure where we’re heading…but isn’t that what’s so (terrifying) thrilling about it all?
